ONE of Times Territory's most popular and elegant hotels has gone from awards host to award recipient this week, after being named Outstanding Venue of the Year.
Tewin Bury Farm Hotel, in Hertford Road near Welwyn, received the award from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
It is only the second time in 12 years that the award has been handed out, and was made in tribute to the hotel for hosting the inaugural FSB Small Business Awards ceremony in June.
Debbie Williams, PA to managing director Vaughan Williams, said: "Although the award came as a
complete surprise, the hard work and dedication from all of the staff in all departments made it a well deserved accreditation.
"Tewin Bury Farm's customers always comment on the fact that
nothing is too much trouble and that they are always prepared to go that extra mile, this clearly proves that the customer is always right!
