Popular cream teas back on the menu at Hatfield museum

A renowned and popular tasty treat has returned to Hatfield for the spring.
The Mill Green Museum cream teas are back and will be served every Sunday, from 2-5pm, until the autumn.
The scones are made in the museum’s cottage kitchen, using the mill’s own flour and the cream teas are served by museum volunteers.
There is also a selection of homemade tray bakes, cakes and cookies available, including some gluten free options.
Museum manager Linda Dobbs said: “Our cream teas bring in their own visitors over the spring and summer and we’re all very pleased when the season begins.
“Whether people want to sit out in our beautiful gardens to enjoy a cream tea, or walkers stop for a snack while browsing the exhibitions, we have some delicious choices.
“Plus all the proceeds go to supporting the museum in its exhibition and education programmes.”
