A FRAGRANT thief is being hunted by police – after walking out of a petrol garage with 30 cans of deodorant.
A man entered the Esso petrol station in Woolmer Green and filled a holdall with cans of Lynx deodorant.
He then paid for a different item at the counter, but walked out without settling the bill for the spray.
Hertfordshire Constabulary have now obtained CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft, which happened between 6.40pm and 6.50pm on Wednesday, February 9.
PC Jamie Johnston said: “We are really keen to speak to the man in the footage or for anyone who recognises him to get in touch.
“We would also ask if anyone knows anything about the incident to get in touch.”
Call PC Johnston on 0845 33 00 222 with any information.
