Police teams have been in the countryside around Stevenage in the search for missing midwifery student Joy Morgan.
In the hope of finding any evidence that could help police piece together what has happened to Joy Morgan, Police Search Advisor officers (POLSA) were carrying out searches in the Hooks Cross area and the A602 area of Stevenage.
Police believe that though her phone has been switched off since January 1, it may still potentially have connected to a network in this area more recently.
In a press conference on Friday, February 15, DCI Karena Thomas confirmed that there had been no activity on Joy’s phone since she exchanged Whatsapp messages with fellow students on December 27.
During the press conference DCI Thomas released a video of one of the last times Joy had been seen, as well as a picture of a red Honda with a black roof and bonnet that she is known to travel in.
“Any information, no matter how small it might seem to you, might help us with our enquiries,” said DCI Thomas.
