Police investigating an accident that seriously injured three people in Welwyn Garden City are asking for witnesses and information.

At about 2.45pm on Saturday, the driver of a black Saab convertible, and two passengers including a five-year-old boy were badly hurt in a collision on Cole Green Lane,

THe driver is still in hospital, but the passengers have been released.

The Saab was travelling from Black Fan Road towards the Heronswood roundabout when it was involved in a collision with an oncoming grey Jaguar XF.

Police also want to know about a red Citreon Saxo that was close to the collision, and may have been involved.
