Herts Police are looking for a man they want to speak to in connection with several incidents in the Potters Bar, St Albans and Hitchin areas.

Officers want to talk to Daniel Taylor, 35, who is believed to be in the Barnet area, in connection with the following incidents in Potters Bar:

> An alleged theft from the BP service station on July 26.

> An alleged theft of alcohol from the Co-Operative store on September 12.

> An alleged public order offence that occurred at the same store on the same day in September, where a member of staff was threatened with serious violence.

> An alleged theft of meat from the BP service station on September 26.

They would also like to speak to him in connection with these other incidents:

> An alleged public order offence that occurred in the Sainsbury’s service station in Marshalswick Lane, St Albans, on September 8, where a member of staff was threatened with serious violence.

> An alleged theft of meat from the same service station in St Albans on September 12.

> An alleged theft of food from the Sainsbury’s service station in Marshalswick Lane, St Albans on October 10.

> An alleged theft of meat and fish from the Tesco Express store in Hatfield Road, St Albans on October 27.

> An alleged theft of food from the BP service station in Stevenage Road, Hitchin on November 6.

> An alleged theft of food from the same service station in Hitchin on Tuesday, November 11.

Police would like to speak with Daniel Taylor, of no fixed address, urgently as it is believed he may be able to assist officers with their enquiries.

Anyone who sees him should call the police straight away via 999. Anyone who has any information about his whereabouts, should contact PC Jon Singleton via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101.
