Police launch hunt for missing Welwyn Garden City man

A MAN from Welwyn Garden City has gone missing, and police are concerned for his welfare.

Chris Loft, who lives in Watchlytes, was last seen yesterday (Monday) at about 2.25pm in Sandpit Lane, St Albans.

It is believed the 47-year-old was on his way to see his father, in Stagg Close, in his car.

Chris is described as a white man, about 5ft 5in tall with ginger/blonde short hair. He has a tattoo on his left arm of the Thin Lizzie logo.

He was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt, dark blue jeans and possibly a black fleece.

His car is a blue Ford Mondeo GLX, registration N279 RTY.

Police are concerned for Chris’s welfare and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts or who has seen someone matching his description to contact them.

Also, if Chris sees this message, he is asked to get in touch.
