Police are investigating an incident on Darkes Lane, Potters Bar

Police were called at 1.38pm today following an incident in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar.

A man, believed to be aged in his 20s, sustained a wound to his arm.

The incident took place between Caffe Nero and a bus shelter. The bus shelter was cordoned off by police.

Ambulance attended and the man was taken to Barnet General Hospital.

Officers are currently in attendance and enquiries are on-going to establish the circumstances around what happened.

Police have been unable to confirm whether or not the incident was a stabbing.
