The police helicopter is out over Potters Bar and officers are on the ground following a fight in the town.

A Herts Police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times; “Police were called at 1.52pm to reports of a physical altercation involving several people outside an address in Willow Way, Potters Bar.

“Officers attended and two males have been arrested.

“Enquiries are on-going and officers remain in the area, including the police helicopter.”

There has been a suggestion on social media that this incident was a stabbing, but the police spokeswoman has confirmed this is not the case.

She added: “One male suffered injuries.

“He has been taken to hospital with a suspected head injury.

“Enquiries are still on-going.

“Four people were involved.”
