Police hunt two men after Hatfield taxi attack

TWO men are being hunted by police for attacking a taxi driver at a knifepoint yesterday. The thugs stole his car and set it on fire close to Ely Close in Hatfield.

TWO men are being hunted by police for attacking a taxi driver at a knifepoint yesterday.

The thugs stole his car and set it on fire close to Ely Close in Hatfield.

The cabbie was called to a phone box on the Birchwood estate to pick up a fare.

The first suspect is as a white male, in his mid 20s, about 5ft 6ins tall and of a slim build.

He had brown messy hair and designer beard (a line from ear to ear) and was wearing dark clothes.

The second suspect is a white man, in his mid-20s, and slightly taller than the first male and of medium build.

He had brown/ white hair and was clean shaven and wearing jeans and a dark jacket.
