Police were called out after a group of about 15 youths were being abusive and climbing on top of a bus shelter in Welwyn Garden City.

Officers were called at 6.02pm yesterday (Wednesday, February 20) to reports of a crowd of young people behaving in an antisocial manner in Hollybush Lane.

A Herts Police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “It was reported that they were playing loud music in the shopping parade, being verbally abusive and some of them had climbed onto a bus shelter.

“Officers attended the scene and conducted a search of the area but the offenders were not traced.”
