Police called to ‘spitting’ incident in Welwyn Garden City

Police were called to deal with a group of young people spitting in Welwyn Garden City this week.

Officers got the call at 2.07pm on Monday, February 18.

They were told there was a group of nine young people behaving in an antisocial manner in Woodhall Parade.

It was reported that they were spitting.

The group was made up of seven boys and two girls, aged approximately 13.

A Herts Police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “Officers attended, spoke to the group and moved them on from the area. “No offences were disclosed to officers.”
