Police are investigating after they were called to HSBC in Potters Bar this afternoon (Friday).

A 999 call was made from the Darkes Lane branch of the bank just after 2pm.

A police spokesman said: “It wasn’t an armed robbery so we don’t want the public to think that.

“It looks like some money has been stolen from a customer but at the moment police are still talking to the woman involved and investigating.”
