Police will be making youngsters write apology letters following their antisocial behaviour in Welwyn Garden City last night.

Welwyn Hatfield North Police are this afternoon visiting parents of the youths involved in antisocial behaviour in Panshanger yesterday.

Officers were called to the Moors Walk shops last night after reports of young people misbehaving.

Officers stated in a tweet: “We found that they had taken food from one of the shops and thrown it around the rear car park.

“All offenders identified and will be dealt with shortly.”

Police have now tweeted this afternoon: “We are currently visiting the parents of those involved.

“They’ll be made to write apology letters and hopefully clean up their mess.”
