Police called to egg throwing in Welwyn Garden City

Police were called to reports of youths throwing eggs at property in Welwyn Garden City.
On Tuesday evening (Halloween night), police received calls about a couple of “egging incidents” in Welwyn Garden City.
A police spokesman said: “The safer neighbourhood team were carrying out proactive patrols across Welwyn Garden City on Halloween night.
“Officers were engaging with young people and I’m pleased to say that it was a quiet night with many people enjoying the evening responsibly and no related arrests.
“There were a couple of reports of antisocial behaviour, namely eggs being thrown at property.
“Officers attended however no damage was caused to the properties.”
In one incident, an egg was thrown at a house in Upperfield Road at about 6.30pm.
