At least three cars were damaged in a trail of senseless attacks last night in Potters Bar.

At 10.29pm yesterday (September 18), police were called to a clubhouse on Mutton Lane to a report that a white Citroen Berlingo and a grey Peugeot 308 had been damaged in the car park.

Just 20 minutes later they were called out again to Cranborne Road after a report that a black Peugeot 208 had also been damaged.

The bonnet and front windscreen had been smashed and caved in.

In both cases, officers spoke to the victims and carried out initial enquiries, which will continue today.

If you witnessed what happened in either case, or have any further information that could help police, call 101 quoting crime reference 41/38152/18 (Furzefield) or ISR 842 of September 18 (Cranborne Road).

Updates to follow.
