Police are appealing for witnesses after a fight in Welwyn Garden City

Eyewitnesses reported seeing ‘loads of police cars’ after officers were called to the scene outside a Welwyn Garden City pub.

Police were called at 7.55pm on Saturday, April 23, to report an altercation outside the Peartree Inn in Hollybush Lane, WGC.

A police spokeswoman said: “Officers attended and discovered that a woman had fallen to the floor during the incident and was taken to hospital to be checked as a precaution.

“No arrests were made.”
