Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a motorbike was stolen in Hatfield.

The white Peugeot Tweet 125cc bike, which was locked with a D lock, was stolen from the front garden of a house in Millwards between 3.45pm and 4pm on Monday, April 18.

PC Shaun Buchanan, who is investigating, said: “Whoever took this bike would have had to have wheeled it away from the scene or used a vehicle to remove it.

“I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious or anyone who has seen a bike like this for sale or been offered it for sale to please contact me.”

Anyone with information which would assist the investigation is asked to contact Herts Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number B2/16/1547.

Alternatively, you can contact the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their Anonymous Online Form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will never need to go to court.
