Police appeal for information after man taken to hospital with arm injury

Police are appealing for information about how a man in his 20s received an injury to his arm in Hatfield.

"We are aware that prior to this incident there was an altercation inside the nightclub between two groups of people and this may be linked to the incident."

A 24-year-old man was walking along College Lane, away from The Forum, when he received at injury to his arm that required hospital treatment.

He was treated for a for a dislocated collar bone.

The incident took place on Sunday, February 2 between 2.30am and 3.30am.

Police say it is unclear at this time how the injury was sustained.

DC Sarah Meacock is investigating the incident and said: “Currently, it is not known how the man’s arm was injured.

“We are aware that prior to this incident there was an altercation inside the nightclub between two groups of people and this may be linked to the incident.

“I would ask that anyone who has information that could assist us in this investigation to contact me straight way.

“If anyone remembers seeing anything unusual or suspicious in or near the nightclub, around the time of the incident, please contact me.”
