Police are appealing following an indecent exposure in Welwyn Garden City


Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man indecently exposed himself in Welwyn Garden City.

A 15-year-old girl was walking along Parkway at around 5.30pm on Friday, February 26, between the junctions of Parkfields and Barleycroft.

She became aware someone was walking closely behind her and as she turned around she saw a man was exposing himself. He then crossed the road and walked off towards Birdcroft Road.

The offender is described as white, aged between 50 and 70 years old and between 5ft 1ins and 5ft 9ins tall.

He was wearing distinctive white Reebok trainers, baggy green/blue jogging bottoms and a beige coat. He was also carrying a clip board.

Whilst officers attended to search the area immediately after the incident and inquiries have been on-going to identify an offender, no arrests have been made.
