Jewellery stolen in Welwyn burglary

Burglars ransacked a home in Welwyn yesterday, stealing jewellery.

Police were called at 7.04pm last night (February 5) to reports of a burglary at an address in Heathbrow Road.

The victim returned home to find the back patio door window was smashed before discovering that intruders had made a mess inside the house.

The offenders are believed to have broken into the property between 3pm – 7pm.

A quantity of jewellery was stolen and a rear sensor light was damaged.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/11823/19.
