Police appeal after man assaulted outside Welwyn pub

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was given a black eye and other injuries in an assault outside a Welwyn pub.

At around 8pm on Saturday, December 1, a man was assaulted by two unknown men outside The Steamer on London Road, Welwyn.

The victim sustained injuries to his face including a cut to the forehead, a cut above the eye, and a black eye.

PC Abi Wilkins, who is investigating, said: “I’m appealing for anyone who saw the incident to come forward as you may have information that could help us to identify the offenders.”
