Police have today released a photo of a custom-made longboard that was stolen in Hatfield.

It was snatched along with an electric scooter from outside a flat in Walsingham Close between 10am on Saturday, August 5 and 10am the following morning.

The longboard has a black deck and is light brown underneath. It has black tracks with red wheels and a few stickers on the bottom. The electric scooter is silver with a wooden deck.

PC Gemma Walsh-Beasley, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for anyone who believes they may have been offered this longboard or the electric scooter for sale to get in touch.

“You may have vital information that could help us trace these thieves and possibly reunite the victim with their possessions which are of great sentimental value.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Gemma Walsh-Beasley via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B2/17/3884 or report information online at www.contacthertspolice.uk.
