Police have just released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak with in connection with a high value theft from a Welwyn Garden City store.

The incident occurred at the Sainsbury’s store in Church Road, between 8.10am and 8.47am, on Saturday, September 24.

A suspect went into the store and took SD cards, memory sticks and hard drives.

A police spokeswoman said: “He walked to another part of the store and passed the items to a second man who placed them in a rucksack.

“They left the store separately.”

PC Andy Finnan, who is investigating, said: “I would like to speak with the people pictured as they may have information which could assist the investigation.

“This was a high value theft and I am keen to hear from anyone who can assist with the investigation.”
