A driver in Welwyn Garden City was shocked yesterday evening when two motorcyclists in bandanas stopped her car and damaged her wing mirrors.

Between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on October 11, the victim was driving along Stanborough Road when she noticed two motorcyclists driving along side by side.

One of them was attempting to overtake her, but was unable to do so due to oncoming traffic.

When they stopped at traffic lights in Stanborough Road, the motorcyclist got off his bike and walked up to the victim’s car window.

She wound the window down and the offender shouted at her. He also caused damage to her wing mirror.

The other motorcyclist pulled up on the other side of the victim’s vehicle and pulled her wing mirror off.

Both motorcyclists are described as wearing bandanas across their faces.

The offenders then rode off onto the pedestrian area opposite Goslings Sports Centre.

Anyone who saw the incident or has information that could help police is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/45375/18 or report information online at www.herts.police.uk/Report.
