Do you recognise this man? Police want to speak to him in connection with an attempted theft in Debenhams, Welwyn Garden City.

Officers investigating an attempted theft in Welwyn Garden City have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Between 2.45pm and 3pm on Saturday, February 18, a man entered Debenhams in Stonehills and attempted to remove a security tag from an item.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have information that could assist the investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man, or has any other information about the attempted theft, is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B1/17/697.
