Police appeal after attempted theft in Cuffley

Police have today released a CCTV image in connection with an attempted theft in Cuffley.

The offence occurred at 8.33pm on Saturday, July 29, at the Co-op in Station Road, where a man attempted to take goods from the shop without paying, before the items were recovered by a member of staff at the store.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have witnessed what happened or have information that can assist the investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man, or has any other information about the attempted theft, is asked to contact PCSO Katie Wilkinson via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B2/17/3711 or report information online at www.contacthertspolice.uk.
