Police and ambulance crews have been dealing with an incident in Hatfield this afternoon.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing three police cars and two ambulances outside Hatfield Swim Centre at lunchtime.

A Herts Police spokeswoman said: “We are dealing with a concern for welfare incident involving a woman.

“She was taken to the leisure centre.

“It happened at 1.20pm.

“Ambulance are dealing.”

An ambulance service spokeswoman said; “We were called at 1.13pm with reports that a patient was unwell in St Albans Road West, Hatfield.

“We sent two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle.

“One woman was taken to Lister Hospital for further treatment.”
