The sister of a missing 22-year-old from Welwyn Garden City has issued a heartfelt appeal for him to make contact.
Former lifeguard Jamie Hannon, of Woodhall, has been missing since Mother’s Day.
His sister Sarah Smith, 33, of Welwyn Garden City, told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “We’re really worried.
“We know he’s in danger.
“We’re not coping, we’re not sleeping.
“I have MS - I’m seriously ill myself.
“We’re doing everything we can to get a message out there.
“If he doesn’t want to come home that’s fine, but just send a signal that you’re OK.”
Speaking of her brother, Sarah said: “He’s lived here for years and years.
“He’s such a lovely boy.
“He’s had good jobs - he has been a lifeguard on a holiday camp in Skegness and he worked at Stansted Airport directing planes.”
Police have also been working to trace Jamie.
Jamie is described as white, of slim build with short brown hair.
•A police spokeswoman asked anyone who has seen Jamie or who knows of his whereabouts to contact the Herts Police non-emergency number 101.
