COUNCIL chiefs have come up with the perfect solution in the Stanborough poplars saga.

For they are planning on replacing the axed trees with PLASTIC ones.

The ingenious plans are detailed in secret documents leaked this week to the WHT.

The trees are made of a special type of rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), more commonly used for window frames and pipe fittings.
