DEVELOPERS will look again at plans to demolish a former WGC school and build houses in its place.

An application to replace the now empty Parkway School, in Parkway, with 10 three-bedroom houses was deferred by Welwyn Hatfield Council on Thursday.

Members of the planning control committee were convinced by an objection from a Parkway Gardens resident, who argued the development was too close to her property and would block out the light into her home.

Planning officers will ask applicants Hubert C Leach Ltd to address the issue.
