Plane crash in Welwyn Garden City prompts emergency crew response

A PLANE careered off the runway of Panshanger Aerodrome in Welwyn Garden City today (Tuesday).

The Air Accident Investigation Branch has been informed, and police and fire crews rushed to the scene.

The light aircraft was not badly damaged and no-one was hurt in the crash, which happened at around 2.15pm.
