Archant

Welwyn Hatfield dog owners are exercising their right to vote while their furry friends keep them company.

Dog owners are snapping pictures of their dogs outside polling stations along with the hashtag #DogsAtPollingStations for a bit of fun.

But the Welwyn Hatfield Times would like to remind people not to leave their dogs unattended outside the stations to avoid the beloved canines being stolen.

If you’re taking your dog to a polling station today and want to be featured, send us a picture of him or her outside the building by tweeting @whtimes, emailing sophie.blackman@whtimes.co.uk or messaging us through our Facebook page.

Please include your dog’s name and what polling station they are at.

This story will be updated with new pictures as they come in so keep an eye out for your four-legged friend.
