A photographer is holding an exhibition about the Edinburgh Fringe at one of Potters Bar’s remaining independent shops.
Brigitta Scholz Mastroianni has decided to combine some of her biggest loves in a street photography project about the Edinburgh Fringe.
On November 24 at 7pm she’ll open an exhibition at Potters Bar Healthfoods, sponsored by Theatre Tours International.
“I’ve pretty much gone to the Fringe every year for the last 20 years, because my husband’s in theatre,” she said. “This year, I thought I wanted to do some photography because there’s all these crazy people there, and they’re all really happy to pose!
“It is a lovely occasion to bring that special Edinburgh feeling to people who might not be able to ever visit the Fringe.”
The mum-of-two from Cuffley chose the healthfoods store on Darkes Lane as the venue, because “I have a great weakness for this shop - it’s one of the last independent shops in Potters Bar”, she said.
Prints will be on sale at modest prices, with a portion of any money made going to another project Brigitta is passionate about, Camley Street Natural Park near King’s Cross.
The free exhibition will run for two weeks.
