Police are today appealing for witnesses after two sheds were burgled in the same road in Hatfield.

The raids in Bramble Road took place between 9pm on February 26 and the following morning, and 11pm on March 1 and the following morning.

A black specialist men’s mountain bike, orange petrol chainsaw, Makita cordless drill and a black electric hedge trimmer were stolen in the first raid. Nothing was taken during the second.

PC Shaun Buchanan, from Hatfield’s Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We believe that these two incidents are linked and I would also like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Bramble Road area between the times stated.”

Anyone with information can contact police via 101, quoting B2/17/1064 or B2/17/1046.
