With less than three months to go until Christmas, Cherry Lane Garden Centre in Gunthorpe, Peterborough has seen a spike in ticket sales for their festive events, with people keen to book up some traditional activities despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Laura Chapman, assistant manager of events and visual merchandising for Cherry Lane, said; “This year, we’re finding our customers are getting more excited about Christmas much earlier than usual.

"While other festive events have had to be cancelled across the country because of COovid-19, we have been working hard at Cherry Lane to ensure we can still deliver our Christmas magic, safely and within the latest Government guidelines. We have events for all the family, from Breakfast with Father Christmas, including socially distanced entertainment, to wreath making workshops and even a Santa Paws event for dogs.”

For those shoppers who are also looking to get ahead with Christmas shopping, Cherry Lane is working on stocking up their centres with lights, decorations and gifts.
