This week’s winner of Pet of the Week is a Hatfield cat who bizarrely can’t climb and whose owner thinks he is a dog in disguise.

Meet Blue, a 10-month-old male ragdoll who lives with his owner Claire Zwager.

When he’s not chasing and biting ankles he loves lazing around in the garden, although bizarrely he can’t climb and has never tried to leave the backyard.

Claire said: “He is a clever cat, comes running when called, jumps into our arms at the command ‘up’, and would certainly run through walls for a treat.

“He is very sociable and always has to be around people.

“He even runs to the door when the doorbell goes – maybe he is a dog in disguise.”
