This week’s Pet of the Week is a Welwyn Garden City pooch who was rescued from Romania.

Meet one-year-old Ruby, who has lived with her owner Lois Spencer since September last year.

The pooch has been nicknamed ‘Happy Feet’ because despite being a small dog you can hear her coming a mile off.

She also has the biggest ears compared to her tiny body.

Ruby’s favourite past time is rolling around in fox poo during walkies which means she needs a bath after pretty much every single walk.

Her owner said the funniest thing about her is when the vet told them that she gets sweaty and smelly when when she gets nervous.

Lois said: “She has changed my life and makes me smile everyday.

“She has become the heart of our home.”
