Meet seven-year-old Lola, described as “the friendliest dog ever” by owner Stephanie Rengert and her teenage son Jamie Rengert.

The pair found Lola 15 months ago in a rehoming centre and fell in love with her straight away.

Lola has recently discovered she can use the cat flap as a door after watching her feline pal Poppy, 11, use it.

The pooch has a knack for destroying Poppy’s toys but when it comes to who is queen of the house, it’s Poppy.

Stephanie said: “They get on really well as Lola just loves everyone. She loves cuddles, kisses and burrowing under blankets.”

Lola doesn’t pester when you eat and enjoys nothing more than a good old squeaky toy.
