A PERVERT who exposed himself to two groups of girls in Potters Bar is being hunted by police.

The first offence took place on Wednesday, September 21, at around 3.40pm.

A group of girls were walking through The Line Path, next to Potters Bar railway station, when a man approached them and exposed himself.

He ran off towards Pinewood Drive.

The second incident happened on Saturday, October 1, on Mutton Lane.

Between 12.15pm and 12.30pm, a man again exposed himself to a group of girls, who were walking down Mutton Lane.

Police believe the same man is responsible for both offences.

The suspect is of Asian appearance, aged 25 to 37, between 5ft 4ins to 5ft 7ins tall, with short dark hair, unshaven with a large nose and chubby build.

In the first offence, he was wearing a yellow T-shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and grey sandals.

In the second incident he was wearing a black T-shirt with writing or a small logo, light grey jogging bottoms and beige flip flops.

Detective constable Laura Chillingworth said: “This was a horrible ordeal for the teenage girls involved and I would like to trace the offender.

“I would like to reassure people that we are doing all we can to trace the man responsible.”

Call Dc Chillingworth via non-emergency number 101 with information.
