A person has been hit by a train at Hatfield Station.


Commuters face delays after all lines are blocked following a person being hit by a train at Hatfield Station.

Great Northern states online: “Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 12.45pm today.”

The person was hit by the 8.44am Great Northern train that was heading to King’s Cross.

Customers had to abandon the service and find alternative ways to travel.

Great Northern added: “The emergency services have attended to an incident and the railway lines are now open.

“Network Rail and Great Northern are working to restore the train service to the normal timetable as quickly as possible.

“We are sorry for the problems this disruption will cause you.”
