A PENSIONER was a victim of a distraction burglary at her home in Cuffley at the weekend.
The 84-year-old was at home on Sunday when two thieves came to the front door.
At around 2.25pm, the first boy distracted the victim while a second boy got into the back of the house and stole jewellery and a purse containing cash and credit cards.
The first thief is described as aged 17 to 18, stocky with short brown hair.
He was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt with a dark motif across his chest and had a mild Irish accent.
The second thief is described as being aged 15 to 20, of slim build with dark brown collar length hair.
He was wearing an orange and yellow striped polo shirt.
