CONSERVATIVE candidate David Lloyd has been crowned the first police and crime commissioner of Herts.

The results come after yesterday’s (Thursday) ballot which saw just 14.5 per cent of the county’s electorate turn out.

Labour hopeful Sherma Batson came in second with 42,830 votes whereas Mr Lloyd won with 65,585.
