A POPULAR police officer's five-year stint in Potters Bar came to an end with a surprise presentation.
Pc Paul Reading, who has moved to the Met, pounded his last beat around the town on Thursday.
Having handed in his warrant card, his last duty was to attend a meeting of the Potters Bar Crime Reduction Group.
There, chairman John Godfrey presented him with a memento, as well as a bouquet of flowers for his wife.
