POLICE are appealing for information after the passenger in a parked car was attacked.

The assault took place last Wednesday in the Kennelwood Car Park on Queensway in Hatfield.

A victim, a man in his 30s, was approached by the driver of another vehicle and has been left with injuries to his head, chest and back.

The suspect is described as an Indian or Pakistani man, aged in his mid-20s.

He was of an athletic build, approximately 5ft 11ins tall and had short dark brown hair.

A member of the public has then assisted the victim, but left before police arrived.

Police are keen to talk to this witness who may be able to assist with their investigation.
