Parkway in Welwyn Garden City had to be closed for a period this afternoon after three cars were involved in a crash.

A Herts Police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “Police were called at 1.53pm today to reports of a collision in Parkway, Welwyn Garden City.

“Three vehicles were involved – a blue Peugeot 406, a black Mercedes C220 and a green Lexus IS200.

“The ambulance service are also in attendance.

“One person has reported neck pain.

“Officers closed Parkway temporarily but the road has now reopened.

“Officers are still at the scene.”

An ambulance service spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a collision in Parkway, Welwyn Garden City, today at 1.52pm.

“An Ambulance was sent to the scene, however no-one was transported to hospital.”
