The first took place on Tuesday, April 28 between 2pm and 3pm, when a woman entered the Galleria and picked up a carrier bag that had been left unattended momentarily outside the Nike store. The woman then ran off in an unknown direction.

The second took place on Thursday, April 30 at 11.40am when a man entered the Nike Factory Store in the Galleria.

While in the store the man selected a number of items and hid them under his jumper.

He then left the store and after being challenged by a member of staff, made off towards the underpass of the Galleria.

PC Glenn Cook, investigating, said: "We would like to speak with the people pictured in the CCTV images in relation to these incidents. It may be that they were witness to the alleged crimes or can offer assistance in the investigation."
