THE trial of two people accused of murdering a Potters Bar dad-of-two is set to start today (Thursday).

THE trial of two people accused of murdering dad-of-two John Redhead is due to start today (Thursday).

Mark Russell and Kelly Sanchez are charged with killing the Potters Bar man, who was found outside a petrol station with multiple stab wounds.

Russell, 30, of Chester Close, Little Heath, and Sanchez, 21, of Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, will stand trial at St Albans Crown Court.

Mr Redhead, 40, of Barnet Road, Potters Bar, died on August 26 last year by the town's Murco garage.
