DUBBED the Action Man of British politics, former Lib-Dem leader Paddy Ashdown comes to the Alban Arena on Tuesday to talk about his life so far.
An Audience with Paddy Ashdown will look at his time as a Royal Marine commando, member of the Special Boat Service, diplomat, MP and leader of his party during a long and varied career.
His is a life story packed with drama and adventure from his early experiences as a commando to his spell as the international High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2002 to 2006.
He is the first to admit he has led a most fortunate life and his story can be heard from 7.30pm.
