Firefighters extinguished a car and an outhouse that were on fire in Welwyn Garden City.

The fire broke out at 5.40pm on Friday, March 25, between Blackthorn Road and Lowerfield Road.

A wooden outhouse in a back garden had caught fire and the flames had spread to a car. Both the outhouse and the car were well alight.

Crews from Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City fire staions attended and put the fire out using two hosereels and two sets of breathing apparatus.

The fire was out by 6.08pm.
